YOU ARE NOT FROM LA

this is random, but I need to let out a rant... 

so over the weekend this random ass girl tried to tell me that she was "from LA" because she was born here.....

but then she said she moved to florida when she was 6 months old....

NO.

people like this are, unfortunately, all over the place. if you see or hear (of) this crap, give the person a quick slap across the face...or simply tell them that theyre not from LA and that they should stop lying to people

a few common excuses for being "from LA"...

• if you are from whittier, fontana, fullerton, corona, dominguez, san luis obispo, etc. you are not from LA!
  
• if you moved to LA (Hollywood) to try to become a "famous" screenwriter, actor, producer, etc. you are not from LA!
• if you live on catalina, you are not from LA!
• if you were born in LA and then moved/grew up somewhere else, you are not from LA!
• if you landed at LAX one time to change planes, you have not been to LA!
•  if you stayed here for 2 months over summer to go to sleep away camp, do not claim that you lived in LA!
